22: Children, Extra Person, and Extra Bed Policies
· 22.1 Children Policy: * Children aged 0-4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding with parents (maximum 1 child per room).
o Children aged 5-10 years may be subject to a breakfast fee or a shared-bedding fee as per the resort’s rate.
o Children aged 11 years and above are considered adults and are subject to the Extra Person/Extra Bed policy.
· 22.2 Extra Person / Extra Bed: * The maximum number of guests per room is strictly enforced. Any guest exceeding the standard occupancy must be notified in advance.
o Extra beds are subject to availability and will incur an additional charge per night (includes breakfast and standard amenities).
o For "Outing" or "Group" bookings, the extra person rate will be charged based on the agreed package rate per head.
· 22.3 Limitation: Some room types (e.g., Deluxe Room) may have space limitations that do not allow for an extra bed. In such cases, the resort reserves the right to deny an extra bed for safety and comfort reasons.
Article 1: Reservation & Payment
· 1.1 Booking Deposit: To secure a reservation, the guest must pay a deposit of 50% of the total amount within the specified timeframe (e.g., 24 hours after booking). If the deposit is not received by the deadline, the resort reserves the right to cancel the booking without prior notice.
· 1.2 Balance Payment: The remaining 50% balance must be settled in full before the stay (e.g., paid immediately upon check-in or 7 days in advance, according to the resort's specific policy).
· 1.3 Payment Methods & Fees: Payments made via credit or debit card are subject to a processing fee of 3-5% (as per resort policy). Payments by cheque require prior agreement and must be bank-certified cheques only.
· 1.4 Payment Default: Failure to pay the remaining balance as scheduled entitles the resort to suspend all services and consider the reservation cancelled under the agreed terms.
Article 2: Resort’s Right to Cancel
· 2.1 Cancellation by the Resort: O2 Zone reserves the right to cancel any reservation immediately without liability in the event of damage or destruction to the allocated areas, or due to other factors beyond the resort’s control that impede the provision of services as agreed.
· 2.2 Force Majeure: Should a cancellation be necessary due to the aforementioned reasons, the resort will coordinate with the guest to find an appropriate resolution (e.g., a refund or rescheduling the stay).
Article 3: Right to Manage Spaces & Locations
· 3.1 Spatial Adjustments: The resort reserves the right to change the names or locations of guest rooms, as well as designated activity areas or recreational zones initially specified.
· 3.2 Advance Notice: In the event of material changes, the resort will notify the guest in advance as deemed appropriate.
· 3.3 Objective: These adjustments may occur for administrative convenience or to maintain safety standards and the quality of service provided to guests.
Article 4: Provision of Apparel & Equipment
· 4.1 Room Amenities: The provision of standard room amenities, such as bed linens and towels, shall be based on the quantity available for service at that time.
· 4.2 Recreational Equipment: The provision of activity equipment—including but not limited to floating mats, water slides, bicycles, go-karts, and other recreational devices—is subject to availability and the functional condition of the equipment at the time of use.
· 4.3 Maintenance: The resort reserves the right to temporarily suspend the service of certain equipment for maintenance or safety reasons without prior notice.
