Children & Extra Bed Policy
Maximum Occupancy
Each room accommodates a maximum number of guests as stated in the Room Description.
Should the number of occupants exceed the stated limit, the hotel reserves the right to decline check-in until any applicable additional charges are settled.
Child Policy
Children aged 0–6 years stay free when sharing existing bedding with adults (maximum 1 child per room).
Children aged 7–12 years are charged THB 300 per person per night when using existing bedding. *No extra bed provided (breakfast not included).
Guests aged 13 years and above are considered adults and will be charged THB 300 per person per night. *No extra bed provided (breakfast not included).
Age Verification
The child's age will be counted as of the check-in date.
The hotel reserves the right to request age verification documents such as a birth certificate, national ID card, or passport.
Should proof of age not be provided, the hotel reserves the right to charge the full adult rate.

Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing to stay at ClayHouse SAMUI Boutique Hotel. To ensure a clear and transparent understanding, please read the following terms and conditions carefully.
Reservations
A reservation is confirmed once the guest or agent receives a Booking Confirmation from the hotel and/or payment or credit card authorization is completed according to the rate conditions.
The hotel is not responsible for incomplete or unsuccessful bookings due to incorrect or incomplete information provided.
The hotel may request a copy of the guest’s ID card or passport for verification prior to check-in.
Guests wishing to add an extra person beyond the standard occupancy must notify the hotel in advance. Extra occupancy is limited to 1 person per room (where applicable). No extra bed is provided. A fee of THB 300 per person per night applies, which includes pillow, towels, hand towel, drinking water, and amenities.
Twin rooms accommodate up to 2 guests per room; Family rooms accommodate 3–4 guests.
If additional guests are found without prior notification, the hotel reserves the right to charge double the standard fee.
Room charges and key deposits must be settled prior to check-in for all stays.
Cancellation Policy
This booking is non-refundable.
✗ In the event of cancellation, the property reserves the right to charge 100% of the total reservation amount, including all booking fees. No refund will be provided under any circumstances.
Changes to Reservation Dates
Date changes are allowed up to 2 times with at least 7 days’ notice prior to the original check-in date.
If the new dates have a higher room rate, the difference will apply.
No-Show Policy:
✗ Guests who fail to check in on the booked date are non-refundable in all cases.
Room Rates, Taxes, and Fees
Rates displayed on the website or OTA may be inclusive or exclusive of taxes and service charges. Please check each rate for details (Inclusive / Exclusive).
In case of a pricing error (e.g., system error), the hotel reserves the right to correct or cancel the booking and will notify the guest immediately.
If prepayment has been made, the hotel will provide a full refund in cases of system error.
Payment, Deposit, and Guarantee
Payment conditions depend on the rate type:
Non-Refundable Rate: Full payment required immediately.
Flexible Rate: Partial or full deposit may be required, or payment can be made at check-in/check-out.
The hotel may perform a pre-authorization on the credit card for an amount equivalent to the first night’s room rate or as specified to guarantee the booking.
If the cardholder is not staying, the hotel may request proof of card ownership or a signed authorization form.

Early check-in or late check-out is subject to room availability and the following charges:

Guests staying beyond the permitted time without prior notice will incur additional charges.
Taxes and Additional Fees
The hotel charges applicable taxes and service fees as required by law. Guests are responsible for any local fees (e.g., tourism fees) in addition.
Force Majeure
The hotel is not responsible for events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, emergencies, government closures, or disease outbreaks.
In such cases, the hotel will make reasonable efforts to accommodate guests, such as changing dates, partial refunds, or issuing credit for future stays.
Damages and Special Cleaning Fees
Guests are responsible for any damage or loss of property in the room, and the hotel reserves the right to charge the actual cost of repairs.
Smoking in non-smoking rooms incurs a cleaning fee and fine of THB 5,000.
Smoking, Drugs, and Misconduct
The hotel is a non-smoking property.
Smoking in rooms may result in fines and immediate eviction without refund.
Use or possession of illegal drugs is subject to immediate legal action.
Bringing Food from Outside
Cooking or bringing strong-smelling foods (e.g., durian, fermented fish, stinky beans) into guest rooms is not allowed.
Any violation of this policy may result in fines or cancellation of the stay without refund.
Guests may bring outside food, but the hotel does not provide containers or cleaning services for such food.
Pets & Service Animals
Pets are not allowed unless prior written permission is granted. Conditions, fees, or damage deposits may apply.
Visitors / External Guests
For the safety and comfort of all guests, unregistered visitors are not allowed in guest rooms. Any violation may result in a THB 2,000 per person fine and/or cancellation of the room reservation without refund.
Guests expecting visitors are requested to have them register at the Front Desk and leave a valid ID card or passport. Visitors may stay on hotel premises until 9:00 PM. After this time, a THB 1,000 per person charge will apply, and visitors will be asked to leave immediately for security reasons.
Guests are responsible for the behavior of their visitors.
Safety and CCTV
CCTV cameras are installed in public areas for guest safety.
Footage is kept confidential and used only when legally necessary.
Right to Refuse Service
The hotel reserves the right to refuse service or cancel a stay without refund if guests:
Fail to comply with hotel rules
Display aggressive or disruptive behavior
Damage property
Use rooms for illegal activities
Exceed the permitted occupancy
Refuse or are unable to make payment
Chargebacks / Credit Card Fraud
In cases of chargebacks or unauthorized credit card use, the hotel reserves the right to cancel bookings and refuse check-in while charging the actual amount.
Amendments to Terms
The hotel reserves the right to amend, update, or revise these terms at any time without prior notice.
The latest version on the hotel website is considered the effective version.
(Housekeeping Service)
For your comfort and privacy:
If you would like our housekeeping team to service your room, please bring "door hanger sign" to the Reception Desk and inform us of your preferred time by 3:00 PM on the same day.
For stays of three nights or more, a full housekeeping service will be provided automatically every third night, with no request required.
If you prefer not to receive service, kindly hang the “Please Do Not Disturb” sign on your door.
Please note:
If the door hanger sign is not presented at Reception, we will respectfully assume that no service is required for that day.
